Nicki Minaj
Nicki Minaj says that despite all the booty-saking and near nudity in the video for her latest single, "Anaconda," there's nothing special about it.

The singer, who appears in a sexy spread for the November GQ, says that she doesn't "know what there is to really talk about," when asked to discuss it.

"I'm being serious," she says of the racy promo. "I just see the video as being a normal video."

The rapper exlained that her video is simply about girls doing what they do, which, to her, is dancing around in skimpy outfits and twerking.

"I think the video is about what girls do," she says...

'The Affair' Season 1 Episode 2 Review

October 20th, 2014 3:52pm EDT
The Affair
The Affair is back with its second episode complete with a brand new title sequence and song courtesy of Fiona Apple. The new intro is a nice antecedent to the drama with its evocative beach-themed visuals and dramatic musical style; it certainly sets the stage for what is to come.

If the pilot for the series introduces us to the main characters and its compelling narrative structure, then the second episode begins to weave the intricate web of circumstances/events that bring these people to where they are in the present day. The narrative unfolds like a Rube Goldberg machine, little bits ...

15 Celebrities Who Were Adopted
Kristen Chenoweth was adopted by a family in Oklahoma when she was five days old.

The singer/actress is a strong advocate for adoption and told Pop Tarts in 2010: “It always goes back to my parents who adopted me, who gave me unconditional love and self-esteem. I don’t think I’d be where I am without them.”

She also told Yahoo! Music: "I feel a lot of love from my mom and dad who adopted me. Maybe I would have had a very different life had I not been adopted but my parents have really helped shape who I am. I do things sometimes they don't agree with, but I'm their kid and they love me. I...

'Mulaney' Season 1, Episode 3 Review: Large, Shaky Cursive

October 20th, 2014 10:59am EDT
Mulaney
The aim of a "Mulaney" episode appears to be establishing a theme in John Mulaney’s stand-up and then acting out scenarios that represent that theme. The routine here is about how Halloween is kind of funny and different from other holidays. There was some strong material here, notably how horror movie villains have become scarier and less wealthy and how brown and tan food and clothing denotes Thanksgiving as the least sexy holiday. But there was not much of a story connected to this material, just a series of loosely connected jokes. Thus, instead of saying something significant about...

'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' Season 2, Episode 4 Recap: Halloween Wars

October 20th, 2014 10:34am EDT
Brooklyn Nine-Nine
Last October, "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" put out an episode called "Halloween." Last night, the show put out "Halloween II."

And in trying to sequelize the insane, perfect payoff that was "Halloween," "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" had one job: make things bigger than they were last year. "Halloween II" doesn't quite make it that far, but it's still a screamingly funny half-hour of TV, so it's hard to complain.

Unless one of your complaints is about Boyle not reviving the Mario Batali costume from last year.

Last year, Jake and Captain Holt placed a bet- if Jake can steal the Captain's medal of valor f...
