What To Watch For In 'The Voice' Season 7
It's that time of year again. The Voice is back, and now on its third lineup of superstar coaches. After three years, six completed seasons and one Emmy Award for Outstanding Reality-Competition Program, NBC's singing competition has climbed to the top of the TV charts. So how could it possibly get any better? Here are five things we'll be looking for in season seven.

1. Can the new coaches coach?

This is the most obvious one. Not only did Shakira and Usher have chemistry with Adam Levine and Blake Shelton from an entertainment standpoint, they were capable of advising their artists, whic...

The Maze Runner
Dystopian teen action/drama The Maze Runner has topped the weekend box office, pulling in $32.5 million in its debut.

The film, adapted from author James Dashner's young adult series, prompted 20th Century Fox to fast-track a sequel following its weekend success. "The Maze Runner: Scorch Trials" is set for a fall 2015 release.

Liam Neeson's latest, "A Walk Among the Tombstones" debuted at number two, with a very weak $13.1 million haul; while Jason Bateman & Tina Fey's dramedy "This Is Where I Leave You" also disappointed, with $11.9 million.

Jennifer Lawrence And Chris Martin Go Public With Rumored Romanc
This weekend's iHeartRadio music festival brought out the big guns for several days of fab performances, but the one duet everyone is talking about is the official "coming out" of Jennifer Lawrence and Coldplay's Chris Martin as a couple.

Martin has been flying solo since March of 2014, when his estranged wife Gwyneth Paltrow announced on her website "Goop" that she and Martin were in the middle of an "conscious uncoupling," a nice way to say they were seperating.

A source told PEOPLE Magazine, that Lawrence, "was off to the side of the stage when he performed."

Lawrence stayed backstage...

'Ray Donovan,' Season 2 Episode 11 Recap: Night of the Two Dozen Cliffhangers

September 22nd, 2014 10:21am EDT
Ray Donovan
You've got to hand it to "Ray Donovan"- the show's got some serious chutzpah. Or, moxie, spunk, cojones- whatever the appropriate Hollywood underworld slang might be.

Because every penultimate episode of every TV season ends on a cliffhanger. But "Ray Donovan," and "Rodef," it's own second-to-last ep, is not satisfied with a single cliffhanger.

"Rodef" wants every cliffhanger, ever, all smushed into a single TV episode like a "to be continued" buffet.

So at the end of "Rodef," we're left with the following questions:

Will Abby kill Cookie Brown?

Will Ray kill Cookie Brown?

Will R...

'Masters of Sex' Recap: Top 5 Moments from 'One For The Money, T
Here are the top 5 moments from “One for the Money, Two for the Show:”

Historical Context

One of the highlights of any period television series is when real world events affect the lives of the characters. Mad Men famously made the death of Marilyn Monroe personally affect many of the office characters. We’ve seen this a couple of times during Masters of Sex, especially in “Fight,” but this episode was overflowing with historical events, each of which effected the characters drastically.

For fantasy obsessed Flo, the news of Clark Gable’s heart attack is devastating, leading her to conti...

'The Real Housewives Of New Jersey' Recap: S6 Ep10 The Day Of Ja
Just when you thought it was safe to go back over the George Washington Bridge: Jac is back.

The former cast member does very little in this episode except reintroduce herself to the audience as the loving mother of autistic four-year-old Nicholas. She’s still on the housewife periphery though, as her only contact is with sometime-housewife Kathy, who’s building a house that they visit. Jacqueline tells Kathy that she’s reached out to Teresa Guidice in her time of need via text message; apparently the two women have not spoken in a while. She says that even though they no longer have a rel...

'The Strain' Season 1, Episode 11 Recap: A Trip to the Master's House

September 22nd, 2014 8:51am EDT
The Strain
We probably shouldn't hold "The Strain" under any kind of close logical inspection. It's big and spectacular and gruesome and, on occasion, kinda dumb.

This is a gift horse we should not look in the mouth (if for no other reason than "its mouth probably contains a horrid vampire stinger").

But here's a nitpick that must be made: surely, there was some other option for Zack than to leave him alone with a dementia-ridden senior in the middle of the full-on vampire apocalypse.

At least lay down a few ground rules. No doing what Mrs. Martinez says, if it sounds especially crazy. No picking u...
