BoratWhy outsource those "wacky foreigner" roles when you can have actors put on ridiculously over-the-top accents? Maxim.com presents their list of the "Funniest Fake Foreigners" from television and film.

Borat Sagdiyev (Sacha Baron Cohen, Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan)
Sometimes, our friends from overseas come here and end up teaching us all a little lesson about ourselves. Other times, they throw a sack over Pamela Anderson and then chase her through a parking lot. Only the truly great actually pull off both. We're just sorry that his butchered English phrasing knocked Napoleon Dynamite off as "No. 1 Thing Quoted by Office 'Funny Guy' Who's Not Funny."

Language barrier: "I arrived in America's airport with clothings, U.S. dollars and a jar of gypsy tears to protect me from AIDS."

Coming to AmericaPrince Akeem (Eddie Murphy, Coming to America)
Murphy's eternally optimistic African prince was definitely funny, but we have to call bull#$%& on the idea of him being a fish out of water. Have you ever been to Queens, New York? You can count the number of people who speak English on one hand without having to put down your coffee. There's no such thing as a "foreigner" there.

Language barrier: "The Giants of New York took on the Packers of Green Bay. And in the end, the Giants triumphed by kicking an oblong ball made of pigskin through a big 'H.' It was a most ripping victory."

TaxiLatka Gravas (Andy Kaufman, Taxi)
A cab driver with a funny accent? OK, so the concept wasn't original, but Kaufman's invented dialect was: A high-pitched squeak that sounded like Mickey Mouse if he had been raised somewhere in Slovakia. Cut the producers of Taxi some slack, though, because the show had nowhere to go but over-the-top after Christopher Lloyd's Reverend Jim.

Language barrier: "Tank you veddy much."
