What to Watch: What's Airing, Re-Airing & Entertaining On TV This Week

March 31st, 2008 8:56am EDT
Monday, March 31

Criminal MindsHow I Met Your Mother (CBS, 8:30 p.m.) - Forget basketball. March Madness is all about figuring out, bracket-style, which jilted woman has it out for Barney.

The New Adventures of Old Christine (CBS, 9:31 p.m.) - Jury's still out on whether the Seinfeld curse has infected Julia Louis-Dreyfus - her show has yet to be renewed - so she better hope reuniting with Jason Alexander (as her gynecologist!) in tonight's season finale does more good than bad.

Medium (NBC, 10 p.m.) - The show wraps up its dark and twisted two-parter about Anjelica Huston's kidnapped daughter (Everwood's Sarah Drew).

Tuesday, April 1

American Idol (FOX, 8 p.m.) - The final 9 take the stage.

Hell's Kitchen (FOX, 9 p.m.) - Gordon goes undercover to spy on the new contestants in tonight's season premiere.

Dancing With the Stars (ABC, 9 p.m.) - Put your dancing shoes away. One celebrity hoofer is eliminated tonight.

Wednesday, April 2

America's Next Top Model (The CW, 8 p.m.) - The girls go on go-sees in New York City. Good news: they know the language. Bad news: traffic, crazy taxi drivers, subway rats.

American Idol (FOX, 9 p.m.) - Another contestant must go home in this week's results show.

Criminal Minds (CBS, 9 p.m.) - Buffy alert! Nicholas Brendon, otherwise known as scooby Xander, returns as techie analyst Kevin Lynch.

Men In Trees (ABC, 10 p.m.) - Morgan Fairchild wants to make Marin's life into a movie. Too bad it's already a decent TV show.

Thursday, April 3

Paris HiltonMy Name Is Earl (NBC, 8 p.m.) - Earl slips into a sitcom world coma with Paris Hilton appearing as herself.

Miss Guided (ABC, 8 p.m.) - Two back-to-back episodes complete the season. That was fast.

Make Me A Supermodel (Bravo, 10 p.m.) - One of the contestants is crowned a model and promptly enters reality star mediocrity.

Step It Up & Dance (Bravo, 11 p.m.) - Elizabeth "Showgirls" Berkley gets a second chance at dance, but thankfully does none, as the host of this amateur dance competition show.

Friday, April 4

The Degrassi Spring Break Movie (The N, 8 p.m.) - Road-tripping, heartbreak, singing and Craig's back! Sounds like the perfect TV spring break.

Battlestar Galactica (Sci Fi, 10 p.m) - The cult phenomenon is back for its final season.

Saturday, April 5

Day of rest. Take a breather. Go outside.

Sunday, April 6

Monk, Psych (NBC, 8-10 p.m.) - If you don't have cable, here's your chance to check out two of USA's quirky character procedurals on NBC.

Family Guy (FOX, 9 p.m.) - FOX reairs this season's premiere, "Blue Harvest," a hourlong parody of Star Wars.

The Tudors (Showtime, 9:02 p.m.) - Anne decides it's time for her and the king to consummate their relationship. She's just now realizing this? Someone should tell her she's on Showtime.
