Aubrey O'Day Lands Reality TV Show
July 20th, 2010 8:31am EDT
Singer Aubrey O'Day will star in her own reality TV show as she attempts to make her pop comeback.
O'Day shot to fame on Sean 'Diddy' Combs' MTV talent contest Making the Band in 2004, and was hired as the lead singer in girl band Danity Kane. However, her music career took a dive when the rap mogul fired her from the group in a 2008 episode after she appeared scantily-clad in a string of men's magazines.
Now, O'Day is eyeing a return to the charts, and will document the process in a new show for Oxygen network.
It is not yet known when the series, entitled The Aubrey O'Day Project, will be aired.
