The bearded heartthrob is in Los Angeles as preparations get underway to begin shooting the first half of "Breaking Dawn" - the final book in Stephanie Meyer's "Twilight" vampire saga.
Violence in Brazil last week threw the filming schedule for the final "Twilight" movie into jeopardy.
Bosses behind the hit vampire franchise had been planning to take the cast and crew to Rio de Janeiro to film scenes for the final two-part installment in the city. However, executives at Summit Entertainment are reconsidering plans to shoot on location after last weekend's epic gun battle between heavily armed drug gangs and police.
