Nick Mason Eyes Pink Floyd Reunion
September 16th, 2010 2:00pm EDT
Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason is pushing for the band to reunite - even though they're not "really ready". The group reformed for a brief comeback at 2005's Live 8 charity concert in London and have faced constant speculation of an extended reunion ever since.
Former feuding stars David Gilmour and Roger Waters performed together at a charity gig earlier this year - and now Mason is keen to regroup completely.
He tells Sky News, "We played Live 8 which is hopefully a template for something we could do again. It might almost be better if we really kept it as something to be used for good. I think that would be a rather nice way to finish the Pink Floyd existence... just doing a show for the right reasons."
