2010 Celeb Deaths Fortunately, 2010 wasn't a big one for celebrity deaths. In 2009, several notables died, including Michael Jackson, Patrick Swayze and Farrah Fawcett.
May was a particularly bad month, in which stars such as Gary Coleman and Dennis Hopper passed away.

Casey Johnson, Johnson & Johnson heiress and fiancee of reality star Tila Tequila, died January 4 from diabetic ketoacidosis.

"All My Children" patriarch James Mitchell died on January 22, weeks shy of his 90th birthday. The cause was chronic obstructive pulmonary disease complicated by pneumonia.

"Poltergeist" star Zelda Rubenstein died on January 27 after being hospitalized for kidney and lung failure.

"Deadliest Catch" star Phil Harris succumbed to complications from a stroke on February 9.

"Growing Pains" star Andrew Koenig, lovingly referred to as "Boner," killed himself on Feb. 15 (not pictured).

On March 10 Corey Haim died from an accidental overdose.

"Mission: Impossible" and "Airplane!" actor Peter Graves died of a heart attack on March 14, four days prior to his 84th birthday.

"Charlie's Angels" and "Dynasty" star John Forsythe died on April 1 from pneumonia at the age of 92.

"Designing Women" actress Dixie Carter died on April 10 after complications from endometrial cancer.

Lynn Redgrave died on May 2 from breast cancer.

Singer, actress and activist Lena Horne died on Mothers Day, May 9, of heart failure.

Rocker Ronnie James Dio died on May 16 of metastasized stomach cancer.

Slipnot bassist Paul Gray died on May 24 of an accidental overdose of morphine and fentanyl, and he had also shown signs of "significant heart disease."

On May 28, "Diff'rent Strokes" star Gary Coleman died after falling down the stairs at his home and hitting his head, possibly after another seizure, and suffering an epidural hematoma.

Dennis Hopper died on May 29 at the age of 74 due to complications from prostate cancer.

"Golden Girls" star Rue McClanahan died on June 3 at the age of 76 after she suffered a stroke.

"Titanic" actress Gloria Stuart died of respiratory failure on September 26 at age 100.

Tony Curtis died on September 29 from cardiac arrest.

"Leave It To Beaver" actress Barbara Billingsley died of polymyalgia October 16 at the age of 94.

"Happy Days" star Tom Bosley died of heart failure on October 19.

"Hawaii Five-O" actor James MacArthur died of natural causes on October 28 age 72.

After 20 years of battling chronic lymphocytic leukemia, "Dirty Sexy Money" actress Jill Clayburgh succumbed to the disease on Nov. 5.

Leslie Nielsen died on Nov. 28 due to complications from pneumonia.
