Shenae Grimes Denies John Mayer Romance

Actress Shenae Grimes has dismissed reports she's dating rocker John Mayer, insisting the romance rumors are "embarrassing."
Editors of a gossip magazine linked the 21-year-old 90210 actress to serial celebrity dater Mayer earlier this week, but Grimes logged on to Twitter.com on Wednesday to blast the claims.
She wrote, "According to Star magazine John Mayer and I are in secret sexy cahoots. How wonderful for me... if wonderful meant embarrassing."
Mayer's spokesperson has also dismissed the claims indirectly, saying, "Star magazine is not a credible source."
The "Gravity" hitmaker has previously hit the headlines for his high-profile romances with Jennifer Love Hewitt, Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Simpson, and he was recently linked to country music sweetheart Taylor Swift before she started dating Jake Gyllenhaal.
