Cheryl Burke Did Not Want Chris Brown On 'Dancing With The Stars'
March 30th, 2011 8:51am EDT
TV star Cheryl Burke urged Dancing With The Stars bosses to reconsider their decision to have Chris Brown perform on the show on Tuesday night because she's a former victim of abuse.
The professional dancer, who is paired with wrestler/rocker Chris Jericho on the current season of the hit show, has spoken out about her years of torment at the hands of an ex-boyfriend and she finds it offensive that Brown, who was convicted of assaulting former girlfriend Rihanna, was even considered for the programme.
Upset Burke fumes, "As a victim of domestic violence I don't agree with him coming on the show but it's out of my control."
