Latest 'Pirates Of The Caribbean' Breaks International Box Office Records

Pirates of the Caribbean on Stranger Tides Johnny Depp has sailed off with the world's biggest debut ever after the latest "Pirates Of The Caribbean" film took a staggering $346.4 million at international cinemas over the weekend.

The fourth film in the franchise, "On Stranger Tides," debuted to $90.1 million in the U.S. alone and scored the biggest ever opening in Russia with $28.6 million.

The film beats the 2009 global opening record set by "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" ($236 million).

It was also a great weekend for the latest film in the "Fast & The Furious" franchise - "Fast Five" crossed the $500 million global box office mark.
