Halle Berry Granted Permanent Restraining Order

Halle Berry has been granted a three-year restraining order against a man charged with stalking the actress at her Hollywood home last month.
Richard Franco was taken into custody after allegedly showing up at her estate three times in as many days. He denied a charge of felony stalking, but prosecutors slapped him with another allegation of residential burglary last week, to which he has also pleaded not guilty.
Berry obtained a temporary restraining order against Franco following the terrifying incident, and on Monday, a Los Angeles judge awarded her a more long-term protective order, banning the overzealous fan from going within 100 yards of the X-Men actress and her three-year-old daughter, Nahla, until 2014.
Berry was not present for the hearing, according to the Associated Press.
Franco is due back in court on Thursday to answer the two charges filed against him. If convicted, he faces up to three years behind bars for felony stalking, while the burglary charge carries a six-year sentence.
