Whitney Houston To 'Sparkle' In Her Big Screen Comeback
September 13th, 2011 8:20am EDT
Whitney Houston is in talks to make her big screen comeback in a reboot of 1976 musical movie SPARKLE.
The I Will Always Love You hit-maker has not starred in a film since her 1996 hit The Preacher's Wife alongside Denzel Washington, but now she's in negotiations to return to acting after 15 years.
Sparkle focuses on three Harlem-based sisters who form a musical group in the 1960s and Jordin Sparks is already on board to make her film debut.
Despite the success of her first big screen outing, The Bodyguard in 1993, Houston only made three movies before her personal problems and addictions hampered both her screen and singing careers.
