Jaleel White Former "Family Matters" star Jaleel White is making a big return to TV as the host of a new game show.

White, who starred as beloved geek Steve Urkel on the popular 1990s family sitcom, has signed up to front "Total Blackout."

The half-hour series, which is based on an international phenomenon, forces contestants to face their greatest fears in absolute darkness by completing a number of challenges.

He says, "They're (contestants) basically limited to four of their (five) senses... The biggest surprise will be the contestants themselves - will they maintain their composure in the darkness or not because the darkness brings out something in all of us."
