Celebrities That Turn 30 in 2012 It's hard to believe for many of us the 1982 was 30 years ago. In that year, Ronald Reagan was President, Joe Montana was the Superbowl XVI MVP and the space shuttle Columbia made its first mission.

In movies, E.T., Tootsie and Gandhi ruled the box office while Chariots of Fire won best picture at the Academy Awards. Also taking home Oscar gold for best actor and actress in 1982 respectively were Katharine Hepburn and Henry Fonda for On Golden Pond. In music Michael Jackson released Thriller which sold more than 25 million copies, becoming the biggest selling album in history.

1982 was also the year we said goodbye to John Belushi who died of a drug overdose and Grace Kelly, the actress who also became Princess of Monaco, died in a tragic car accident. Enough with death and tragedy, 1982 also marked the year that many prominent celebrities were born and in the year of 2012 will turn 30 years of ages.
