Dee Snider Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider is set to release an album of Broadway hits featuring duets with Cyndi Lauper, Bebe Neuwirth and Clay Aiken.

"Dee Does Broadway" will hit the market on May 8 to coincide with the release of the colourful rocker-turned-radio personality and reality TV star's autobiography, "Shut Up And Give Me The Mic."

The album features Snider's rendition of songs from musicals like "Damn Yankees," "Guys & Dolls," "Sweeney Todd" and "Chicago."

He also joins forces with the cast of "Priscilla, Queen Of The Desert" for a cover of "There Is Nothin' Like A Dame" from "South Pacific." And there's a rendition of "The Joint Is Jumpin'" from "Ain't Misbehavin'" featuring Snider's son, Jesse.

The rocker says, "Ever since I was a kid, I'd heard the real power inherent in a lot of songs from musicals and this record gives me the chance to show it."
