Chris Rock To Induct Red Hot Chili Peppers To Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame

Red Hot Chili Peppers The Red Hot Chili Peppers have asked comedian Chris Rock to salute them when the band is inducted in to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio next month.

Rock will join rapper Chuck D, John Mellencamp, Steven Van Zandt, Bette Midler, ZZ Top's Dusty Hill and Billy Gibbons, and Carole King among the celebrity presenters.

Public Enemy frontman Chuck D will honor the Beastie Boys, Mellencamp Donovan, Van Zandt The Small Faces and Midler Laura Nyro.

Hill and Gibbons will salute blues great Freddie King, and Carole King will induct her fellow former "Brill Building" songwriter Don Kirshner.
