Luke Wilson Enthusiastic For Armless 'Anchorman' Return
April 9th, 2012 12:11pm EDT
Luke Wilson is eager to make a cameo appearance in the upcoming Anchorman: The Legend Of Ron Burgundy sequel, despite his character losing both arms in the original movie.
Will Ferrell recently confirmed his obnoxious newsman character will be returning to the big screen for a follow-up after several years of financial wrangling with bosses at the 2004 hit's studio Paramount Pictures.
The main cast, including Steve Carell, Paul Rudd and Christina Applegate, are all expected to return, and Wilson has also made it known he is eager to rejoin the cast - even though his Anchorman alter ego Frank Vitchard suffered debilitating injuries.
He tells Collider.com, "Somebody just told me (about Anchorman 2) last week. I had forgotten that I'd lost both my arms in the first one. It would be so fun to do it."
