Rolling Stones' 'Exile On Main Street' Film In The Works
April 23rd, 2012 8:02am EDT
The making of The Rolling Stones' classic album Exile On Main Street will be the subject of a new movie.
The big screen drama will focus on the rising tensions between frontman Mick Jagger and guitarist Keith Richards during their work on the 1972 double album in the South of France.
The film will be based on Robert Greenfield's 2008 book Exile on Main Street: A Season in Hell.
It is not the only Rolling Stones film that is in the works at the moment - Brett Morgen's documentary of the iconic band will be released later this year to mark the band's 50th anniversary.
Famed director Martin Scorsese previously filmed the band for his 2008 documentary movie Shine A Light.
