Jason Bateman To Make Directorial Debut With 'Bad Words'

Jason Bateman Is hoping to step behind the camera to direct a new comedy movie.
The Horrible Bosses actor is in talks to helm Bad Words, about a man who exploits a loophole to enter a national kids spelling competition, according to Variety.
Bateman, who is also lined up to play the lead role, has gained experience as a director while working on TV show Valerie's Family and taking charge of several episodes of Arrested Development and Family Matters.
Bad Words will mark Bateman's debut as a movie director.
