Woman Claims That Eddie Griffin Made Her Feel 'Sexually Assaulted' At Comedy Club
A woman who threw a drink over Eddie Griffin at a recent comedy gig has threatened to sue the star if he fails to apologize for allegedly insulting her during the show.
Fiona Walshe was in the audience with her female partner, identified only as Leslie, for Griffin's stand-up set at Tommy T's Comedy Club in Pleasanton, California on Friday.
However, the show descended into chaos after Walshe tipped her drink over the funnyman and he reacted by throwing items back at her, before ending the gig early.
Walshe has now opened up about what happened that night, claiming Griffin mocked her sexuality and then pushed his crotch into her face.
She tells TMZ.com, "(He said) 'You're a lesbian. All you need is a good man... I'll volunteer my services. You won't be needing any strap-ons or vibrators with me'... He started to pump his hips into my face. I felt sexually assaulted and I wanted him to stop - then I threw the drink at him to defend myself... He jumped off the stage and onto my table. He started grabbing everything and throwing it at me... Before I could get away from him he poured a water bottle on my head and threw it at me."
Walshe is now demanding an apology from the star and is considering taking legal action if he doesn't say sorry.
Her lawyer adds, "We're seeking an apology from Eddie Griffin and compensation for the public humiliation and emotional distress. There will be a lawsuit if he doesn't make amends."
