50 Cent To Donate Boxing Promotion Profits To Hunger Charity
Hip-hop mogul 50 Cent is stepping up his efforts to fight hunger by promising to donate proceeds from his new boxing promotion company to charity.
The In Da Club hit-maker, real name Curtis Jackson, recently launched TMT (The Money Team) Promotions to help organize future bouts for his incarcerated pal Floyd Mayweather, Jr. and he's now revealed a portion of the profits will go to boost aid for the United Nations' World Food Program.
In a Twitter.com post, he writes, "I'm gonna make sure proceeds from TMT promotions go to stoping (sic) hunger.i just woke up hungry, people are hurting."
50 Cent has been working hard to meet his personal goal of feeding one billion African children by the end of 2013 and has been handing over cash from sales of his energy drink Street King and his SMS Audio headphones line for the cause.
