Actress Marilyn Monroe was born on June 1, 1926 in Los Angeles California originally named Norma Jeane Baker. Monroe lived a short 36 years and was found dead in her Los Angeles home on August 5, 1962. She was, and still is known as the world's biggest sex symbol and today marks the 50th anniversary of her mysterious death.
