Michael Jackson's nephew T.J. has been made a permanent co-guardian of the King of Pop's three children.
Tito Jackson's 34-year-old son was appointed as the temporary guardian of Prince, Paris and Blanket amid a family feud last month, when matriarch Katherine Jackson was reported missing.
The 82 year old returned to the Calabasas, California home she shares with the youngsters after a 10-day "vacation" at an Arizona resort, and she was subsequently reinstated as the kids' carer after agreeing to share the responsibility with her grandson T.J.
The case returned to a Los Angeles court on Wednesday when Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff made the joint guardianship deal permanent.
The judge also warned T.J. Jackson to ensure teenagers Prince and Paris and their 10-year-old brother Blanket were not negatively affected by the family rift, which has seen Michael's siblings Janet, Jermaine, Tito, Rebbie and Randy Jackson launch a public fight to have lawyers John Branca and John McClain removed as the executors of the singer's estate.
Tito and Jermaine subsequently had a change of heart and withdrew from the bid to overthrow the administrators.
