Cops have dropped charges against the man who allegedly attacked Lindsay Lohan in New York on Sunday.
The actress accused Christian LaBella, 25, of assault after the pair got into an altercation at the W Hotel in Manhattan's Union Square over alleged photos he had taken of her without permission.
Police were called to the scene and LaBella was arrested and charged with two counts of misdemeanor assault and two counts of harassment. A representative for Lohan stated the star sustained minor injuries during the reported bust-up.
However, the New York Police Department has decided to drop the charges after it was determined Lohan's allegation could not be substantiated.
The Mean Girls star's publicist has slammed the decision, telling E! News, "It's both distressing and outrageous... and there should be a consequence for that."
