Dennis Quaid: 'It's Hard For Two Actors To Be Together'

October 4th, 2012 5:13pm EDT

Dennis Quaid Dennis Quaid fears all Hollywood marriages are doomed because it's difficult for two actors to live together.

The Rookie star has spent 15 years of his life as a husband to actresses P.J. Soles and Meg Ryan and now he's married to realtor Kimberly Buffington - and he admits exchanging vows with another star can be more than a little challenging.

He tells, "It's hard for two actors to be together. Take the travelling, for instance. It winds up being a long distance relationship all the time, because one's working here and one's working there, or one's staying at home and one's off someplace else."

"Your partner has to live with the best and the worst part of you, and they're affected by it."

And he admits his own broken home background didn't help: "There were abandonment issues there, which I think I still have."
