Katt Williams In More Trouble After Hitting Audience Member With His Microphone

Katt Williams is facing a lawsuit over allegations he hit an audience member with a microphone during a show in Seattle, Washington.

The troubled funnyman has been a regular in the headlines over the last few weeks following numerous arrests, with his most recent brush with cops occurring on Friday when he was held on a reckless driving charge.

He has now been accused of striking a man with a microphone during his stand-up gig at the Paramount Theater in Seattle earlier this month and the gig-goer has filed a lawsuit.

Carlos Casto-Lino claims he suffered concussion and bruising to his head and is suing the star and bosses of the venue for $250,000, according to TMZ.com.

In video footage filmed at the theater, Williams can be seen chastising a gig-goer for allegedly attempting to record the show and then hitting him on the head with his microphone.

Williams was detained by police at a gas station in California on Friday, a day after a warrant was issued for his arrest stemming from a police chase in Sacramento last month when he allegedly rode a three-wheeled motorcycle on the sidewalk before speeding away.

He was previously arrested in November on suspicion of battery at a sports bar, and he had another brush with cops last week for his alleged involvement in a bar brawl in Seattle, Washington.

Williams also shocked fans earlier this month by announcing he is quitting stand-up comedy and cutting short his current U.S. tour, a claim his representative subsequently dismissed.
