Tom Cruise is jetting back onto the big screen in a 3D update of his hit film Top Gun.
The 1986 classic helped make Cruise a superstar and raked in more $353 million at the box office.
Now, bosses at Paramount studio have announced the film has been digitally re-mastered and will be released in 3D in February.
The update was overseen by tragic director Tony Scott, who committed suicide by jumping to his death from a bridge in California in August.
A Top Gun sequel has been put on hold following Scott's death out of respect for the filmmaker's legacy.
