Kara Dioguardi To Be A Mother

Former American Idol judge Kara Dioguardi is preparing to become a first-time parent.
The songwriter and her husband, Mike McCuddy, are expecting a son via a gestational surrogate in the next few weeks, and they have already chosen a name for the baby.
She tells People.com, "We are eagerly awaiting the healthy and happy birth of our son Greyson James Carroll McCuddy."
The pair married in 2009, but faced a series of fertility issues and failed in vitro fertilization (IVF) attempts before opting for a surrogacy.
