Britney Spears Nearing Deal With Planet Hollywood In Las Vegas

Britney Spears is in talks to play a series of shows in Las Vegas, according to resort bosses in Sin City.

According to USA Today, Caesars Entertainment spokeswoman Emily Wofford said the company is hoping to host the pop star at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino. Cee Lo Green of "The Voice" is currently in residence at the casino.

A few days ago Spears' manager revealed he would be making an announcement "very soon" about the singer.

Spears is going through a lot of change in her life right now. She quit as judge of "The X Factor" after just one season and recently announced she split up with fiance and manager Jason Trawick.

The pop star stands to take home a lot more than the measly $15 million she earned for her work on the second season of the reality show. Early estimates point to her topping the $100 million per year that Celine Dion pulled in during her Sin City residency from 2003-07.
