Bon Jovi Performed A Free Show For Snowed-In Fans In Connecticut

Rockers Bon Jovi rewarded die-hard Connecticut fans who had braved a fierce snowstorm to attend the first night of their new tour by performing an impromptu free concert after the severe weather conditions forced them to delay Saturday's scheduled gig.
The "It's My Life" hitmakers' date at the Mohegan Sun hotel and casino was called off over safety concerns for audience members heading to the in-house arena as heavy snowfall and strong winds caused havoc across America's north-east coast, but instead of holing up in their suites, the stars decided to make the most of their night and put on a show for those stranded at the venue.
Frontman Jon Bon Jovi took to the band's Twitter.com page after the set to explain their reasoning, writing: "We were concerned for those who were unable to travel to the show and for those who had already traveled a long way to uncasville, ct (Connecticut) postponing the show while still performing tonight for those already here was the best way to address the unavoidable blizzard".
The rockers will make-up the scrapped show at the same venue on October 25.
Bon Jovi are due to continue their tour in Washington, D.C. on Sunday.
