Danica McKellar's Divorce Is Finalized

Danica McKellar Former "The Wonder Years" star Danica McKellar is officially a single woman. The actress, who played Winnie Cooper on the beloved late 80s TV series, and Mike Verta are officially divorced.

McKellar filed for divorce in July 2012, citing irreconcilable differences. A judge officially signed off on the split this week and dissolved their union, according to TMZ.com.

The couple have a two-year-old son, Draco, and McKellar asked for joint physical and legal custody of him. Their custody and child support agreement has been detailed in their sealed pre-nuptial agreement.

McKellar and Merta wed on March 22, 2009, in La Jolla, Calif., after dating for eight years.

The actress has also appeared in the TV series "The West Wing" and "Inspector Mom" and voiced a character in the animated series "Young Justice." McKellar studied advanced math and physics at UCLA and graduated summa cum laude in 1998.
