Alison Pill And Jay Baruchel Call Off Engagement

Tropic Thunder star Jay Baruchel and his actress fiancée Alison Pill have called off their engagement.
The Canadian couple was planning to wed last year, but Baruchel recently alerted fans to the fact that not only had the nuptials not taken place but he had been ditched.
In a now-deleted tweet, he wrote, "Alone again, naturally. Heartbroken," adding, "I won't be on twitter for awhile gang. Getting dumped rules."
In a recent interview with the Times Colonist, Baruchel explained why the wedding never happened: "Unfortunately, we're two busy people who are intrinsically lazy, so in our free time, the last thing we want to do is book flights and organize hotel rooms for people."
However, he insisted that the wedding was still on.
Nonetheless, on Sunday, a solo Pill attended the 30th annual PaleyFest for her hit TV drama The Newsroom in Hollywood without her engagement ring.
A source tells UsMagazine.com the couple's long distance relationship became too difficult to manage.
