March 6th, 2013 4:45pm EST
Patricia Richardson is best known for playing Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor's (Tim Allen) wife Jill on Home Improvement during the 1990s.
The 62-year-old actress starred in over 200 episodes of the hit ABC show before moving on to "Strong Medicine" when the series ended. "Strong Medicine" focused on a group of women doctors at a South Philadelphia women's clinic who specialized in getting medical help to less fortunate women. Not surprisingly, the show aired on Lifetime.
Patricia starred in 59 episodes during its six-season run.

She's been nominated twice for a Golden Globe Award for her role on "Home Improvement," in 1994 and again in 1995. Both nominations were for Best Actress in a Television Series (Musical or Comedy).

Richardson starred in a few TV movies and has a new film, "Avarice," due out later this month. The film is about a group of people brought together when a mysterious box from outer space lands in the desert. The box has special powers, but releases and evil darkness when misused.
