Where Are They Now: Danielle Fishel, AKA Topanga From 'Boy Meets World'

Boy Meets World star Danielle Fishel is all grown up and ready to return to TV screens across America in the show's upcoming spinoff.
Danielle starred in 148 episodes of the family show as Topanga Matthews and will reprise her role in "Girl Meets World," which finds her all grown up and married to her "Boy Meets World" love interest Cory Matthews (Ben Savage). The two have a couple of children now and the new series follows their daughter Riley's life growing up, much like the first series followed Cory's childhood.

Danielle was born on May 5, 1981 in Mesa, Arizona, and grew up in Yorba Linda, Calif. She graduated from California State University, Fullerton in December 2012 with a bachelor's degree.
Danielle was discovered at a community theater at age 10 and went on to do commercials. Two years later she was starring as Topanga on "Boy Meets World." Her role was supposed to be small, but she became a recurring and very popular character. The show lasted for seven seasons.
She had weight issues in the latter half of the last decade and dramatically shed pounds by using the Nutrisystem Diet in 2006, and even became one of the company's spokespeople. But by 2010 she had gained most of the weight back and said it was difficult to maintain her weight after using Nutrisystem. She dropped the weight again though, and sizzles in the April 2013 issue of Maxim magazine (see pics here!)
Danielle hosted The Style Network's "The Dish" -- a similar show to E!'s "Talk Soup." The show ran from 2008-11.
She recently told Maxim magazine that rumors that she dated co-star Ben Savage were started when she confirmed that the couple once went on a date together.
"That rumor was entirely my fault because I once said, on The Tyra Banks Show, that Ben and I went on a date, and that turned into 'Danielle and Ben dated.'" She said. "We went on one date, when I was about 15, and by the time the dinner was over we realized mutually that we were more like family than lovers."
Danielle dated N Sync singer Lance Bass from 1999-2000 and he went to her high school prom with her.
