Lou Reed Pulls Out Of 2013 Coachella

Lou Reed Legendary rocker Lou Reed has cancelled his upcoming performances at California's famed Coachella music festival.

The Perfect Day hit-maker was due to play at the event's double dates in April, but he has now pulled out citing "unavoidable complications."

Reed has also called off a concert in Los Angeles, as well as shows in San Francisco and Monterey, California.

The rocker has yet to give an official reason for the axed tour dates, but a statement posted online by concert promoters Golden Voice reveals "(The shows have) been cancelled due to unavoidable complications."

This year's Coachella, which takes place over two weekends, will feature the Stone Roses, Blur and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
