Justin Bieber Sued By Snapper

June 10th, 2013 5:25pm EDT

Justin Bieber Justin Bieber is facing legal action from a photographer who was allegedly involved in a fight with the singer's security guards in Miami last week.

On Wednesday, photographer Jeffrey Binion claims he was assaulted by Bieber's bodyguards as he attempted to photograph the singer leaving a recording studio and police are currently investigating a battery report.

Binion has now filed a lawsuit against the teenage pop star and a member of his security team, Hugo Hesny, claiming the superstar ordered the alleged attack and the theft of his camera's memory card.

In the lawsuit, the snapper claims he was pinned against a wall and grabbed by the throat, and sustained bodily injury, mental anguish, pain and suffering, as well as incurring medical expenses.

Binion's attorney, Russell S. Adler, says, "Justin Bieber is now an adult, and he should act like one. He needs to learn that he cannot use bodyguards as weapons to harm innocent people. Bieber's violent behavior toward photographers must end, and he should take responsibility for his actions..."

"To send him that message and deter his misbehavior in the future, we will seek punitive damages against him as allowed by Florida law."
