Where Are They Now: Melissa Gilbert, AKA Laura Ingalls From 'Little House On The Prairie'

Newlywed Melissa Gilbert, most famous for playing Laura Ingalls on Little House On The Prairie from 1974-83, posted a few new pics of her latest haircut to her Twitter page this week, one shot of her cut-off ponytail with the caption "Bye bye hair!"
The actress and former president of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG), married for the third time on April 24, tying the knot with actor Timothy Busfield.
Gilbert had previously been married to actors Bo Brinkman and Bruce Boxleitner and has a child with each of them.
Both of her exes starred in 2003's Gods and Generals, prequel to 1993 Civil War film "Gettysburg." They both played high-ranking confederate soldiers.
Melissa appeared on the 14th season of hit show Dancing With The Stars, finishing in fifth place. She suffered a concussion during the fourth week of the show when she fell and hit her head on partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy's leg.
Interesting facts about Melissa:
She voiced Barbara Gordon/Batgirl on the Batman animated series from 1992-94.
Dated and was engaged to Rob Lowe during the 80s.
She was adopted on May 9, 1964 -- a day after she was born -- by actor Paul Gilbert and his wife, Barbara Crane. The couple divorced when she was eight.
She's the adopted half-sister of actress Sara Gilbert, who her mother gave birth to after she remarried.
Melissa and second husband Bruce Boxleitner were introduced by the actor's ex-wife.
"Little House on the Prairie" co-star Michael Landon's son, Michael Jr., took Melissa to her senior prom.
She was elected president of SAG in 2001, beating actress Valerie Harper; and was re-elected in 2003. She was replaced in 2005 by actor Alan Rosenberg after deciding not to run for a third term.
Melissa last starred in 2011 TV movie "The Christmas Pageant" for the Hallmark Channel. She currently has no projects in the works.
