Where Are They Now: Soleil Moon Frye, AKA Punky Brewster

Actress Soleil Moon Frye was the adorable Punky Brewster in the 1980s TV series of the same name and somehow managed to avoid the child star curse that plagues so many young people in Tinsel Town.
On the popular eighties sitcom she played an orphan, who was abandoned by her mother in a supermarket. She ends up befriending a man named Henry Warnimont, who eventually adopts her.
Soleil was born on Aug. 8, 1976, and was named after the song "I Got the Sun in the Morning (and the Moon at Night)" from the musical "Annie Get Your Gun."

In 1992 at age 16, she had a breast reduction because it was difficult to manage a 38DD bust on a 5'1" frame. She was diagnosed with a condition called gigantomastia (giant breasts).
Plus, she hated being called "Punky Boobster."
Soleil dated quited a bit in Hollywood. She was linked to Edward Furlong, Jared Leto, Mark-Paul Gosselear and Mark Wahlberg, who at the time was known as Marky Mark.
She opened up to Parade magazine in 2011 about Wahlberg: "I had a mad, crazy crush on him - the biggest crush of my life! He was great and such a nice guy...Yes, it was totally crazy love. Who wasn't crazy about him?"
In 1998 at at age 22, Soleil starred in and directed the film "Wild Horses." She also married her boyfriend of two years, Jason Goldberg. Two years later she starred in the TV series "Sabrina, The Teenage Witch" alongside her pal Melissa Joan Hart.
From 2001-05 she voiced the character of Zoey in "The Proud Family" on the Disney Channel. She gave birth to her first child, daughter Poet Sienna Rose Goldberg, on August 24, 2005. She had her second daughter, Jagger Joseph Blue Goldberg, on March 17, 2008.
In 2007, Soleil opened an earth friendly children's store in Los Angeles. The Little Seed boutique in Larchmont Village featured organic toys and non-hazardous paints and crayons. It eventually closed its bricks-and-mortar location and started serving customers online instead.
In May 2011, Soleil helped Sean Penn's J/P Haitian Relief Organization. She headed to the Caribbean country for a four-day trip after it was devastated by a major earthquake in January, 2010.
Soleil has voiced the character of Aseefa in the Nickleodeon series "Planet Sheen" since 2010. She is currently pregnant with her third child.
