'Anne Of Green Gables' Actor, Jonathan Crombie, Dead At 48
Actor Jonathan Crombie, who was best know for portraying Gilbert Blythe in the TV mini-series “Anne of Green Gables” suddenly passed away at the age of 48.

The Canadian actor's sister reported to CBC news that he suffered a brain hemorrhage and died in New York City on April 15.

Based on the 1908 novel by Lucy Maud Montgomery, Crombie's played the boy next door role and love interest of Anne Shirley, played by Megan Follows, in the 1985 TV movie. The movie was followed by two sequels in 1987 and 2000.

Bahamanian singer Johnny Kemp, known for his hit song "Just Got Paid," has died at age 55. His body was found floating off a beach in Montego Bay, Jamaica, according to police. It's unclear how he died, reports the AP.
