'Big Bang Theory's' Jim Parsons Is God!
In the beginning, there was Jim Parsons, and he was God.

The Emmy and Golden Globe-winning "Big Bang Theory" actor will star as the Almighty in a limited engagement of "An Act of God."

This new comedy is based on the book "The Last Testament: A Memoir By God" producer Jeffrey Finn announced Thursday. Previews will begin May 5 at Studio 54, ahead of its May 28 opening.

The Washington Post called the book “a bawdy circus of theological vaudeville.”

Curtis Armstrong Talks Aliens, Nerd Anthems In 'King Of The Nerd
If the phrases "alien costume" and "nerd anthem" mean anything to you, you are likely a nerd. And if you are a nerd, television has a place for you: TBS's King of the Nerds, which celebrates all things nerdy and is overseen by Hollywood's best known nerds - Curtis Armstrong and Robert Carradine.

We spoke with Curtis on Tuesday to celebrate the start of season three of King of the Nerds, and also ask him about how he ended up in that female alien costume.

So when you pit a NASA employee against a Brony and throw a neuroscientist into the mix - just to name three of this season's competitor...

The Impractical Jokers are back for their fourth season, and kicking things off with only their second episode on the road. This week, they're in sunny Miami, Florida, where there's sun, sand and plenty of opportunities for them to humiliate themselves. Which they do. In grand, grand, grand fashion.

Challenge #1: Keeping It Wheel
Stuck in a remote-controlled mobility scooter, it's a game to see who gives up and who can hang ten. Sal freely admits this is one of his dreams in life, at least until the other guys make him steal a custodian's trash can. Q then hands over his bottle so Sal look...

'Scandal' Recap And Review: Musings On 'Run'

'Scandal' Winter Premiere Review: Musings On 'Run'
“I’m Olivia Pope… It’s funny because it’s useless.”

This might be a controversial statement but “Run” is the best Scandal episode since season 2. Not only that, but “Run” is what Scandal should be like. No ridiculous subplots where Huck is having is fiftieth meltdown. No insane political maneuvers that would never work in a million years. No long winded speeches that repeat a central theme over and over until your ears bleed. Just focus on the central character and her plight. There was even minimal Fitz, which is a blessing on its own.

Sure, the show has evolved into Alias-lite, with evi...

'Archer' Recap And Review: 'Edie's Wedding' - Everyone's Horribl
Frasier had Maris. Home Improvement had Wilson. Archer has Edie Poovey: that character you don't see who becomes infamous in their non-appearance. In "Edie's Wedding," we finally meet Edie - and like her sister Pam, we immediately wish that we hadn't.

If you couldn't guess from the title of the episode, Edie (voiced by Emmy Award nominee and FX network alum Allison Tolman, who it should be said is far nicer than her character) is getting married, and that leaves Pam desperate for a date to accompany her to the ceremony, sobbing hysterically in the break room. Archer originally just wants h...

'Grey’s Anatomy' Recap 'Where Do We Go From Here'

grey's anatomy
Happy New Year, “Grey’s” watchers. The TGIT withdrawal has finally been lifted and we’re right where we left off. Derek’s more gung ho than ever to go to D.C., even at the risk of breaking his post-it note marriage vows. No matter, Meredith chucks the symbol of their commitment—the framed post-it note—in the trash. Shattering it in several pieces. (BTW nice touch with the intro, ShondaLand.)

The overarching theme of “Where Do We Go From Here” is adjusting to trauma. But the first step is getting over the shock. Meredith is proactive; she interviews a nanny that will more or less take Derek...

'Archer' Season 6: Judy Greer Talks Cheryl After Cherlene
Season six of Archer means that Cheryl/Carol is back to being just your regular, garden variety...horribly inept, mentally disturbed executive assistant. She may have left her country music career behind, but she's still just as crazy.

We chatted earlier this week with Judy Greer, who lends her voice to Cheryl or whatever her name is this week, to get her point of view on this season's shenanigans and what has made Archer so popular that people ask her to scream "You're not my supervisor!" into their cell phones.

"There was one major thing that happened this season that blew me away," she...
