Suge Knight Kills Friend In Hit And Run, Turns Self In
Hip-Hop mogul Suge Knight may have just killed a man in a hit and run.

The incident began last night on a movie shoot in Compton, featuring Dr. Dre and Ice Cube. Knight drove on to the set, where a physical altercation began between him and two unknown men.

After the fight broke out, Knight got back into his car and fled the scene- but in driving away, he ran over and killed another man.

TMZ claims that Knight was so quick to get out of there because he's already in poor health (Knight was grievously wounded in a shooting last year).

Radio And TV Pioneer Joe Franklin Dead At 88
Radio and television pioneer Joe Franklin has died. He was 88.

"Joe went unexpectedly and passed away Saturday night," said friend and former produver Steve Garrin. "The last two weeks were the first time he ever missed a broadcast in over 60 years."

Franklin was a mainstay of late-night radio and TV in New York City. Most recently he worked at WJZ, WOR, and the Bloomberg Radio Network.

Reality Star/Fitness Model Gregg Plitt Hit & Killed By Train
Calvin Klein model Gregg Plitt was hit and killed by a train on Saturday. The model/actor was reportedly filming an advertisement for a protein shake near the tracks when he was struck by a Metrolink train in Los Angeles, Calif.

Plitt, 37, was with a group of friends at the time of the incident. Authorities will interview them as part of their investigation into his death.

Plitt modeled for companies including Under Armour and Old Navy. The renowned fitness instructor also appeared in the reality shows "Work Out" and Bravo's "Friends to Lovers."

'La Dolce Vita' Star Anita Ekberg Dies At Age 83
Anita Ekberg, Swedish-born actress and sex-symbol of the 1950s and `60s has died. She was 83.

Kerstin Anita Marianne Ekberg was born in Malmo, Sweden on Sept. 29, 1931. She was one of eight children.

Ekberg won the Miss Malmo Pageant and later was crowned Miss Sweden in 1950. She later placed as one of the top six finalists in the Miss Universe Pageant.

The actress, best known for the iconic scene where she bathed in the Trevi Fountain in the film "La Dolce Vita" had been hospitalized outside of Rome for a series of undisclosed illnesses.

Actor And Comedian Taylor Negron Dead At 57
Actor Taylor Negron, best known for his portrayal of the deadpan pizza delivery guy in "Fast Times at Ridgemont High," died Saturday at the age of 57.

The actor's death was announced by his cousin Chuck Negron, a former member of the rock band Three Dog Night, in a short YouTube video.

'May he rest in peace. I just wanted all of you people who knew him and loved him to know that he just passed,' Chuck Negron stated.

Chuck Negron said he was with Taylor at the time of his death, along with the actor's mother, his brother Alex and Chuck's brother Rene.

Grammy Award-winning Gospel singer AndraƩ Crouch passed away on Thursday after suffering a heart attack on January 3.

Crouch, often referred to as "The Father Of Modern Gospel Music," was 72.

Longtime ESPN sportscaster Stuart Scott died early Sunday morning following a long battle with cancer. He was 49.

Scott became a household name thanks to his many catchphrases while anchoring the network's "SportsCenter," most notably his exclamation "Boo-Yah" (which co-anchor Rich Eisen says was correctly spelled "Boo-Yow") and "Cool as the other side of the pillow."

Donna Douglas, the TV actress best known for playing Elly May Clampett on 60s series "The Beverly Hillbillies," has died.

The star passed away at her Pride, East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana home on New Year's Day, her niece, Charlene Smith, told the the Associated Press on Friday.
