Sadie Calvano Talks 'Mom' Season 2, Family And Charity
CBS's Mom - a 2014 People's Choice Award Favorite New TV Comedy nominee - is back for its second season tonight, continuing the dysfunctional but well-meaning escapades of the Plunkett family. We recently caught up with Sadie Calvano, who plays Christy's (Anna Faris) daughter Violet, to ask her what laughs and lessons are coming in season two.

The new episodes don't pick up immediately after last season's surprisingly touching finale. "We ended last season with Violet giving away her baby," she explained. "In season two, you see Violet dealing with the ramifications of that decision. She's...

Michael Carbonaro Back For More Magic In Season 2 Of 'The Carbon
Just ahead of Halloween, Michael Carbonaro is here to once again be the most entertaining guy on the small screen. He's brought a whole new season of his hidden-camera magic series, The Carbonaro Effect, in which he uses his magic ability to surprise and delight ordinary folks in extraordinary ways.

We spoke to Michael on Monday about what makes The Carbonaro Effect come alive and his equally entertaining acting career - including that time he was on The Newsroom.

"I had a lot of fun seeing the way people react to real moments of magic when there's no magician around," he told us of the s...

'Impractical Jokers' Scorecard: 'Just Say No' - Enter The Kool-A
TruTV is giving us a bonus Impractical Jokers this week. They want to use the hit power of the show to help launch some of their new unscripted programs. We just want to laugh at extra Sal, Joe, Q and Murr. Everyone wins. Here's what happened in this additional but no less embarrassing Tuesday-night edition of Jokers.

Challenge #1: Deal With It
The guys are back at Foxwoods again, working as blackjack dealers (once they pry Joe off the slot machine). Mr. Gatto also bats leadoff in this challenge, talking about the joys of "warm fish salad" until the gag is beaten thoroughly to death and Sa...

'The Voice' Recap: Three Knockouts, Four Artists Move On
It's a short night for The Voice. With only a one-hour show Tuesday, the singing competition featured only three additional Knockouts, one of which was already shown early on the show's YouTube channel. At least one of the other two featured a steal by Gwen Stefani. Read on to find out which four artists moved on from the trio of matchups on Tuesday.

Team Gwen: Taylor John Williams, "Mad World" vs. Troy Ritchie, "Hey Ya"
This knockout were already posted to YouTube as another "sneak peek" clip, so there's not a ton of suspense here. It's the usual two artists are in one space and the coach...

'The Voice' Recap: Taylor Swift Joins For The Knockouts

'The Voice' Recap: Taylor Swift Joins For The Knockouts
Now that the Top 48 have been picked and cut in half (except for those eight steals), it's time to cut the field in half again (except for four more steals) on The Voice. Welcome to The Knockouts, which are back this season after having been replaced by a second cycle of Battles in season six. Apparently that change didn't go over well, because we're using the old formula: two artists each perform a song of their choice and only one moves on.

We can also say goodbye to the individual team advisors and hello to Taylor Swift, who becomes the go-to girl for all four coaches just as her new al...

Watch Kelly Clarkson Cover Taylor Swift's 'Shake It Off' And Tot
Kelly Clarkson surprised the crowed at her concert in Buffalo, New York on Saturday night with a cover version of Taylor Swift's recent hit "Shake It Off."

The former "American Idol" winner slowed things down with a bluesy beginning that showed off her vocal chops, calling the song one of her "favorite songs out right now."

Swift, whose new album "1989" drops today, caught wind of the performance and tweeted out the YouTube video to her fans, writing, "Watching Kelly Clarkson SLAY 'Shake It Off' is an excellent way to celebrate 26 HOURS TIL 1989!"

Watching Kelly Clarkson SLAY "Shak...

Michael J. Nelson Celebrates Halloween With 'RiffTrax Live: Anac
Halloween is about scares, and what's more scary than a terrible movie with a ridiculous snake? The hilarious trio at RiffTrax - Michael J. Nelson, Bill Corbett and Kevin Murphy - are celebrating the holiday this Thursday by skewering the 1997 Jennifer Lopez adventure flick Anaconda, and Mike spoke to me last week about the joys of riffing a half-cocked monster movie and his plans for Halloween night.

For those of you who haven't yet seen Anaconda, you're in for a treat. "I think the linchpin of the whole thing is, in the third act there's a shot of the boat going away from an Amazon water...

Jim Carrey Takes On Matthew McConaughey, Halloween & Himself On SNL, Iggy Azalea Is Musical Guest

Jim Carrey Takes On Matthew McConaughey, Halloween & Himself On
When Jim Carrey first hosted "SNL" in 1996, it was one of the times when the host temporarily revamped the show according to his own performance style. That can be a good thing or a bad thing; in Jim's case, it was very good. For his third hosting stint, he was not quite as unstoppable, but he was still quite the blast of energy. As he pointed out in his monologue, Halloween is the one day each year that he is able to blend in with everyone else, and with a plethora of mostly successful All Hallow's Eve-themed sketches, he proved to be the most apt host for the occasion. There were a few cl...

RonReaco Lee Scores With 'Survivor's Remorse'

RonReaco Lee Scores With 'Survivor's Remorse'
Survivor's Remorse has done a few good things. The Starz original series has reinvigorated the half-hour comedy. It's added something fresh to the tired formula of famous people dealing with fame. And it's provided a new spotlight to shine on RonReaco Lee, one of the overlooked talents on television.

For the last few years, RonReaco has without fanfare enlivened every TV project he's been a part of. As snitch and often unwilling accomplice Julius Grant on FOX's criminally (pun intended) short-lived comedy The Good Guys, he stole every scene that he was in.

Thankfully, Good Guys creator Ma...
