We're continuing our look at what's new and upcoming in the 2016-2017 TV season by turning our focus to the shows themselves. Today, we've selected five of the new series that you should keep an eye on in the new season for a variety of reasons.

Some may be the next big hit. Others may change the way we look at TV. Still others just have some intriguing pieces and parts and are worth seeing what happens. FOX Announces Final Season Of 'Bones'

Final Season Of 'Bones' Pushed Back To 2017
Fans waiting to see what happens to Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) are in for a long wait. FOX has announced that the 12th and final season of Bones will be a midseason series, saying only that it will air sometime in "winter 2017."

New baseball drama Pitch is taking Bones' place on Thursdays this fall.

When Bones returns it will also air an hour later, moving to 9 p.m. Thursdays as the Miami procedural Rosewood gets the 8 p.m. slot.

Lazy Cat Is Not A Morning Feline: Kitty Drags Itself Down A Set
Over 1.4 million Facebook users have viewed a video of a cat lazily dragging itself down a set of wooden stairs.

The cat lies on its back as it slowly inches its way down the steps head and front paws first. The feline is obviously too lazy to walk and prefers the sliding method.

People are delighted with the video. One person commented, "It's impossible to not fall in love with this."

Another added, "Sometimes in the morning I also used this method out of bed to continue to sleep on the floor."

The video has been shared over 36,000 times.

Charleston, South Carolina's JP Sears published a new video earlier this week called "If Meat Eaters Acted Like Vegans" as a part of his Ultra Spiritual Life YouTube series, and though he's a life coach in real life, his video is a parody of the vegan stereotype and is nothing short of hysterical.

April Jennifer Choi, from West Peoria, Illinois, is really good with a whip. In fact, she's so good that she can knock single pieces of popular game Jenga out with a flick of the wrist from several feet away.

The 30-year-old, who is also skilled at knife-throwing, hula hooping and card tricks (involving fire!), is seen in the video below snapping her whip in a room full of enough of them hanging on the walls to make make Christian Grey jealous.
