Sullivan Stapleton: From 'Strike Back' To 'Blindspot' And Still
Today is a difficult day as we brace ourselves for the series finale of Strike Back, which comes to an end after a tremendous run on Cinemax. TV is about to lose a show the likes of which it may not see again.

But making things easier for us is Sullivan Stapleton, who shined as Damien Scott on Strike Back and is now tearing it up as Kurt Weller on NBC's Blindspot, and who joined Starpulse earlier this season to talk about what it was like for him to say goodbye to our favorite former Delta Force operative and move on to the FBI.

"It was sad," he said of finishing Strike Back, which wrappe...

Shows Like 'Strike Back' Only Come Around Once In A While

The Legacy Of 'Strike Back': Will We Ever See Another Show Like
Cinemax's Strike Back is ending in just two days, and that's big news not just for fans of the show, but for anyone who enjoys television and wants it to be better. Shows this good only come around once in a while, and it may be a long time before we ever see a series like this again. In honor of its conclusion, we look back at what made Strike Back better than all the rest, and why it will be such a hard act to follow.

The action genre in both television and film has acquired, not entirely without merit, a certain prejudice. Many audiences believe that an action project can't have the sam...

'Strike Back' Spin-Offs That Would Be A Good Idea
The series finale of Strike Back is just days away, so what better time to talk about spin-offs? While we may not see Scott and Stonebridge for a while (thanks to Blindspot and The Player), the Cinemax series has given us over the years tons of memorable characters played by a remarkable cast of supporting and guest actors.

So if we could do anything we wanted (and ignore the fact that a lot of these characters are dead), here are five concepts for Strike Back spin-offs that we think would be worth tuning into. In no particular order:

Faber and Mason: Faber (Dustin Clare) and Mason (Leo G...

'The Voice': Coaches Find The Last Pieces For Their Teams

'The Voice' Recap: The Final Eight Auditions
Season nine of The Voice only needed eight more singers, so on Monday night Adam Levine and company set about finding the last pieces for their teams. Who were the eight that finished up the Top 48? Read on to find out.

Dustin Christensen began the night with a soulful rendition of "Downtown Train," and all four coaches wanted him for their teams, making this the fourth of five episodes to start with a four-chair turn. Dustin chose Team Blake (possibly due to all the Blake heads on sticks that mysteriously found their way into the audience), but Adam would get his revenge...kind of.

'The Voice': Gwen Stefani Says Show 'Inspired' Her Music Career
Coaching on NBC's The Voice has reinvigorated Gwen Stefani's career. The "Hollaback Girl" singer told Starpulse during a recent press junket how her first year coaching on the show made her feel different about her own music, and why she decided to come back for this season.

"The experience is what inspired me," she said. "I think I was just so shocked, because I'd just had a baby and they just asked me to do the show and it was just a shock. Never in my life would I ever do something like this. It just didn't seem like my thing...It was a crazy move and I just think that sometimes, things...

Meet 'Heroes Reborn' Newcomer Toru Uchikado
NBC's Heroes Reborn is adding a lot of new faces to the Heroes universe, including Toru Uchikado. Toru plays the character Ren, who becomes connected to Miko Otomo as she begins her heroic story as Katana Girl. Starpulse caught up with him recently to talk about the show - and it being his first major acting role!

"It’s just great that I finally don’t have to tell my friends 'Don’t blink or you will miss me,'" the actor told us. "I moved to LA in 2011 and since then, I’ve worked everywhere. When I was taking acting classes and going to numerous auditions, I served tables, worked as a barte...

You Won’t See 'Impractical Jokers' Doing Stunts Like This On TV

'Impractical Jokers' Reveal Challenges You Won't See On TV
This week's Impractical Jokers wasn't your ordinary episode. "One Night Stand Up" was actually a broadcasting of the TruTV comedy foursome's live show from a recent evening in Torrington, CT in its entirety.

You see, when they're not embarrassing each other on national television, Joe, Murr, Q and Sal travel the country performing as the Tenderloins, which is the original moniker of their group. These live shows also give them the opportunity to talk about a number of things that wouldn't make it onto TV.

That means unleashing a slideshow that they called "Challenges You'll Never See On T...

What We Learned From 'The Player': Don't Jump Out Of A Perfectly
Airplanes are very useful for a lot of things. They can take you across the country or across the world in relatively short periods of time. They can be used to transport all kinds of goods. They can put out fires and drop humanitarian aid. Airplanes are meant to help you. So here's our lesson from this week's episode of The Player: Don't jump out of a perfectly good airplane.

In "Ante Up," Alex Kane (Philip Winchester) has to climb aboard a departing jet to stop former acquaintance Dominic McCall (Joseph Sikora) from getting away with a ton of priceless diamonds. He and McCall slug it out...

'The Voice' Recap: Season 8 Blind Auditions Are Almost Over
After this week, there's only one more night of blind auditions for The Voice. So on Tuesday, coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams are busy taking their teams from 'sort of done' to 'mostly done,' after the slightly creepy black-and-white versions of past artists stopped popping up.

Darius Scott opens the show with his cover of "You Make Me Wanna..." and turns three chairs, those belonging to Adam, Gwen and Pharrell. Darius goes to Team Pharrell, basing it on his high school experience which includes a N*E*R*D* tattoo. Also known as the one tattoo Adam doe...

Hisham Tawfiq On 'The Blacklist' Season 3: 'I'm Excited With Wha
When The Blacklist returns this week, it will have a new series regular; Hisham Tawfiq has been promoted to the main cast after two seasons recurring as Raymond Reddington's bodyguard and confidante, Dembe Zuma. Starpulse spoke to the actor earlier this month about the jump and how art is imitating life for this multi-faceted performer.

"I'm excited with what's going on. It looks pretty exciting," said Hisham, who has added something memorable to the series over the last two years despite the fact that he's playing a character who's the definition of the phrase 'strong, silent type.' Has i...
