During yesterday's episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," the comedian-turned-talk-show-host devoted a portion of her monologue to a recent article, in which she was mentioned.

Is Rosie Perez Leaving 'The View'?
Rosie Perez has only been a part of "The View" for four short months, but it looks like four months was enough. Perez is leaving "The View," Variety reports.

Apparently, she was having difficulties adjusting to the show (which switches between soft daytime TV stuff and hard news- remember that whole Rosie O'Donnell Iraq War thing?).

Perez reportedly also couldn't handle reading off the teleprompter.

You can't even find Perez on "The View" right now- she's taken January, off, to star alongside Larry David in "Fish in the Dark," a Broadway play also written by David.

Jay Leno To Make Return To 'The Tonight Show' Friday
Former "Tonight Show" host Jay Leno is returning to his old stomping grounds on Friday night as a guest of Jimmy Fallon.

It will be the first time he's been back to the show after signing off after almost 22 years as the show's host.

Leno has not seen "The Tonight Show's" new digs in Manhattan. The show was based in California for years while Leno and Johnny Carson were at the helm.

Jay Leno was honored with the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor, at the 17th awards held at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. last evening.

Comedians who were directly influenced by Leno including Jerry Seinfeld, Chelsea Handler, Seth Meyers and Wanda Sykes attended the festivities.
