Jay Leno To Make Return To 'The Tonight Show' Friday
Former "Tonight Show" host Jay Leno is returning to his old stomping grounds on Friday night as a guest of Jimmy Fallon.

It will be the first time he's been back to the show after signing off after almost 22 years as the show's host.

Leno has not seen "The Tonight Show's" new digs in Manhattan. The show was based in California for years while Leno and Johnny Carson were at the helm.

Fallon did coerce Leno to appear on a TV parody titled, "House of Cue Cards" but that was not a sit-down interview.

Jay Leno was honored with the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor, at the 17th awards held at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. last evening.

Comedians who were directly influenced by Leno including Jerry Seinfeld, Chelsea Handler, Seth Meyers and Wanda Sykes attended the festivities.
