Tonight begins the end of The Good Wife, as the CBS drama airs the first of what we now know will be its final nine episodes. Series co-creators and showrunners Robert and Michelle King spoke to reporters recently to discuss why they stuck to their original plan of ending the series after seven seasons.

CBS has pulled the plug on the Maggie Lawson and Jane Lynch comedy series Angel From Hell and removed it from the schedule effective immediately, per a report from Deadline Hollywood.

Angel From Hell starred Lawson (Psych) as Allison, a woman who forms an unlikely friendship with the eccentric Amy, played by Lynch (Glee, Hollywood Game Night), after Amy claims to be Allison's guardian angel.

CBS has surprised fans by announcing that this season of The Good Wife will indeed be its last. The network released a new promo during Super Bowl 50 billing the "final episodes" of the long-running drama, which will air its series finale on Sunday, May 8.

TV show cancellations on TNT were announced via Deadline on Wednesday. The network decided to ax three and renew two programs as the new year approaches.

According to the site, “Legends,” “Agent X,” and “Public Morals” were cancelled by TNT. None of them had performed especially well in the ratings department. "Legends" stars Sean Bean. Despite the program showing marked improvement creatively in Season 2, its performance didn't cut it enough in order to be renewed for a third season.

"Mythbusters," the seven time Emmy-nominated Discovery Channel series that made household names of former special effects wizards Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman, will come to an end after its 14th season airs in 2016. The network announced the cancellation on Wednesday.

'Rookie Blue' Gets Cancelled After Six Seasons
Rookie Blue has been cancelled and will not return for a seventh season, as announced by the cop drama's Canadian production company Shaw Media on Friday and reported by TVLine.

After 22 seasons (or cycles, as the show calls each series), popular CW reality show "America's Next Top Model" will come to an end.

Host Tyra Banks made the announcement on her Twitter page on Wednesday, writing, "Thinking #ANTM22 should be our last cycle. I truly believe it's time. May your pics be forever fierce. Keep on Smizing!"

The network confirmed Banks' news, revealing that the series finale will air on December 4, according to Variety.

The show, co-produced by Banks, debuted in 2003 on the former UPN network before moving to the CW, where it spent 16 cycles.

The Comedians is over- after just one season, FX is canceling the fledgling series. Deadline reports that the network has passed on a potential second season of the series, starring Billy Crystal and Josh Gad, and that The Comedians is officially done.

The official announcement came on Wednesday night, when executive producer/showrunner Ben Wexler revealed the bad news on Twitter. "#TheComedians is cancelled at FX. I could not be more proud of the work we all did," Wexler said in mourning.
