Charlie Sheen's Anger Management Cancelled
Charlie Sheen's FX Series "Anger Management" has been cancelled by the network.

After he was fired from 'Two and a Half Men," Sheen developed and starred in the series, which came to a close on Monday night.

The show ran for 100 episodes over two seasons.

FX announced the end date for "Anger Management" in a November press release.

The show premiered to record ratings in 2012 and close to 6 million viewers tuned in.

Since that time, ratings have since slipped with recent episodes getting fewer than 500,000 viewers.

The cast was a revolving door of who's who over the subsequent 100 epi...

July 13th, 2014 3:03pm EDT
Orange is the new Black
Orange is the New Black fans were freaking out last night after a website claimed the Emmy-nominated Netflix series was cancelled. However, not everything was as it seemed.

Satirical website Empire News generated a fake comment from Netflix founder Reed Hastings: "We regret to inform Netflix members that Orange is the New Black has been permanently cancelled. Also, starting September 1st, 2014, past episodes will no longer be available for streaming on Netflix."

The "joke" arrived later in the story when they came up with this gem of a "quote" from Hastings: "A woman’s place is in the hom...

FOX Cancels Ambitious Series Before Its First Episode

FOX Cancels Ambitious Series Before Its First Episode
It's became a running joke that FOX doesn't give TV shows a chance to prove their worth (Tru Calling, Family Guy, The Tick, Futurama, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Arrested Development, Firefly), but the network may have topped itself when it canceled an expensive series before airing even one episode.

Hieroglyph was going to be FOX's attempt into the serial drama scene dominated by HBO's Game of Thrones. It was a gamble to be sure; FOX can't exactly show the same content as HBO can thanks to censors. Still, it had a young and talented team behind it with Pacific Rim screenwrite...

Community
Fan favorite Community is running out of places to go with a possible sixth season – Hulu has dropped out of negotiations to stream its final season.

Last month, The Hollywood Reporter said Sony Pictures Television was working hard to get the Dan Harmon comedy a sixth season. "We, more than any other studios, fight for shows that we believe in. This show had a remarkable history. There are real conversations we need to have with everyone as soon as we get back,” co-president Jamie Erlicht said at the time.

With Community being one of Hulu's most-watched television series, it appeared to b...

7 Canceled TV Shows We Wish Netflix Would Bring Back
Arrested Development's successful return for a fourth season on Netflix was lauded as a just reward for a show that was often viewed as a critical success but just didn't have the viewers to show for it. Arrested Development's success on Netflix started a new era of original programming for the company that has since given us other hits like House of Cards and Orange is the New Black.

With Netflix's status as a home for quality original shows still on the rise, we thought it might be fun to take a look at back at some of our favorite canceled shows that, like Arrested Development, were pe...

'Community' Creator, Stars React To Show's Cancellation
After five seasons and low ratings, NBC canceled "Community," a move that broke the hearts of many fans who hoped the network would greenlight one final season to wrap things up.

The show was set at a local junior college and featured a host of quirky characters, including a disbarred lawyer and Christian single mother. Creator Dan Harmon thanked his colleagues and fans for being part of the show.

Twitter isn't big enough to hold my condolences and more importantly my gratitude to the best fans, cast and crew in TV history. Excelsior.

NBC Cancels 'Revolution' and 'Community,' ABC Renews Three
NBC has cancelled Revolution after two seasons. Revolution was a bubble series for a while, and its prospects just kept getting worse. There was a rumor that NBC would order an abbreviated final season, but ultimately NBC passed on the show altogether.

In other news, NBC has cancelled Community, which is surprising after most people thought it would get a final season order from NBC. Community has one of the most devoted fanbases of any TV show, and there has been talks of reviving Community on a Netflix/Hulu type basis. Now that NBC has released the show, hopefully we will hear word of of...

Fox Cancels 'Dads,' 'Enlisted' & 'Surviving Jack'

May 8th, 2014 4:00pm EDT
Dads
The FOX network has swiftly axed three of its new shows - "Dads," "Enlisted" and "Surviving Jack."

Seth MacFarlane created the multi-camera comedy "Dads," which starred Seth Green, Giovanni Ribisi, Brenda Song and Vanessa Lachey. The series centered on two men in their 30s whose lives are turned upside down when their fathers move in with them. Critics and viewers slammed the program when it first aired last September.

"Suriving Jack," starring Christopher Meloni ("Law & Order: SVU") and Rachel Harris ("Suits") also failed to resonate with viewers.

"Enlisted," starring Geoff Stults, Chri...

7 Awful TV Series Finales That Caused Fan Outrage
When How I Met Your Mother ended this past week after nine seasons, reaction among fans was somewhat mixed. Some fans said that Ted and Robin belonged together, just like other long-time TV couples like Ross and Rachel or Carrie and Big. But other fans resorted to throwing a tantrum on Twitter, saying the show essentially ended right back at square one, nine years later.

Whether you loved or hate the How I Met Your Mother finale, it just proves that we can all get a little too attached to our favorite shows sometimes. When the producers pull the rug out from under viewers in a much anticip...
