Lorde Unveils New Single, 'Yellow Flicker Beat' For 'The Hunger
After releasing several teasers on her Tumblr, Facebook and Twitter pages, Lorde has finally unveiled her new single, "Yellow Flicker Beat." The song is part of the soundtrack for the new film, "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1," which arrives in theaters on Nov. 21.

"Flicker Beat" is a dramatic track written by the 17-year-old New Zealander, who easily gets behind the walls of the film's lead character, Katniss Evergreen.

Radiohead singer Thom Yorke's latest solo album was downloaded over 116,000 times in just 24 hours following its release on Friday.

The singer decided to release "Tomorrow's Modern Boxes" via BitTorrent as an "experiment," Yorke said in a statement.

"It's an experiment to see if the mechanics of the (BitTorrent download) system are something that the general public can get its head around...," the statement read. Rocker Thom Yorke is the latest musician to eschew traditional album release methods by dropping his first solo album in eight years, "Tomorrow's Modern Boxes," on downloading website BitTorrent.com.

Torrent websites are notorious for online piracy because the software quickly and easily allows users to share and download music, movies and TV shows.

The Radiohead frontman and his producer Nigel Godrich shocked fans by releasing eight new songs to BitTorrent users for just $6. His project is the Internet's first paid-for music torrent.
