The second dance, the freestyle, showcased the couple's strengths. All bets were off with choreography that was exclusively at the discretion of the pros. It was up to the celebs to see how they stood up to the challenge. Bethany Mota was eliminated in a shocker that left the judges shaking...

'How To Get Away With Murder' Recap: Who Killed Sam?

November 21st, 2014 11:36am EST
How to Get Away with Murder
Who killed Sam? Well, that’s a complicated question. Physically, it’s Michaela who injures him on the staircase. After a Scream like resurgence, it’s Wes who bashes a trophy over his head when he tries to strangle Rebecca (which isn’t even in murder; it’s justifiable homicide). However, it’s the group that thinks they all killed him—which is absolutely ludicrous—but in the end they all might as well have since they burn his body and chop it up into little pieces, callously throwing it in a Philly dumpster.

And then, in the final moments of an episode that basically just rehashes (in order)...

'Scandal': 5 Best Moments From 'Where The Sun Don't Shine'

'Scandal' Review: 5 Best Moments From 'Where The Sun Don't Shine
ABC’s winter finales are usually bonkers and Scandal usually epitomizes that. For the most part, “Where the Sun Don’t Shine” was a calmer episode than we’re used to, but the ending really ramped things up. Here are the top 5 moments from the episode:

Killing B613

It’s almost as if Scandal heard our prayers. The B613 conspiracy is by far the weakest part of the show. It weighed down last season and its continual mentions this year have elicited quite a few groans. But in “Where the Sun Don’t Shine” the show is trying to rectify that problem by killing off the members of B613. Unfortunately...

'Scandal's' Jasika Nicole Talks Kim: 'She's Always At Level Ten'

'Scandal's' Jasika Nicole Talks Kim: 'She's Always At Level Ten'
She's the woman that Huck can't let go of, no matter how hard she tries to make him. The character of Kim has been breaking Huck's heart (and the audience's) since her first appearance on Scandal way back in season two, and for that we can thank actress Jasika Nicole, who brings her to life.

We had the opportunity to talk to Jasika last week about what it's like to play the emotionally wound up Kim (not easy), plus discuss how she was able to move forward from her best-known role as Astrid Farnsworth on Fringe.

"I did [my] first episode [of Scandal] and it was kind of like a dream," she e...

'The Middle' Recap: Thanksgiving For Losers

November 20th, 2014 10:40am EST
The Middle - Thanksgiving VI
This may have been the most depressing episode of the “The Middle” ever. That is no small feat for a show that has made no effort to hide the Heck family’s penny-pinching reality and daily stresses. Usually each episode will end on an at least relatively positive note to leaven that reality. “Thanksgiving VI” was not depressing because it forewent that positive ending. It was there, but it felt more momentary than ever before. The root causes of the doldrums were still taking their toll.

The good news is that despite how thorough all the Hecks’ problems are, they probably are not part...

'Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.': A How-to Guide To Alien Superweapons

November 19th, 2014 11:27am EST
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Is it too early to say that "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." is on a roll after finally telling us what that alien gobbledygook was?

Aw hell, let's say it: "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." is on a roll. May it never end.

And from last week, we've upgraded from discovering one secret to discovering 800 billion. In no particular order, let's lay out what "The Things We Bury" taught us about S.H.I.E.L.D.'s current situation:

The Diviner is not a weapon.

The Diviner is a tool to end humanity (except for a select few), from long long ago.

The Diviner holds something even more powerful inside it.

The sec...

'Dancing With The Stars' Semi-Finals: Tommy Chong's Rein As Seri
The reality dance series hosted "Plugged/Unplugged" night where the semifinalists performed two different dances to the same song. The first round had the couples performing standard versions of their given song. The second round featured a different dance to unplugged covers of the duo's prior songs.

Series survivor Tommy Chong sadly went home this evening. The season is winding down with only 4 couples remaining and the finals next week, where a double elimination will take place before a winner is chosen. The mirrorball is close at hand for the couple who perform the best in the finals...
