'Supernatural' Season 10 Episode 3 Recap: Lean Mean Dean

October 22nd, 2014 11:37am EDT
"Supernatural" has finally discovered the key to its chemistry and the possibility of another 10 seasons: lock the brothers Winchester into a cavernous room together and let them emotionally waterboard each other. "Soul Survivor" pressed on a lifetime of bruises for our compromised heroes, and it never hurt so good.

Grab your favorite torture hammer, and let's dive in, shall we?

Castiel | Our favorite angel has spent the majority of the episode not wallowing about his failing grace or impending death, but doing what he can with the time he has left, which unfortunately for him and ...

'The Flash' Season 1 Episode 3 Recap: Superheroes Have Emotions, Too

October 22nd, 2014 10:30am EDT
The Flash
Man, that was an emotional episode of "The Flash," huh? So many characters, all wrestling with their innermost feelings. Life. Death. Love. Betrayal.

Also, a few of them wrestled with a terrifying man who can transform into a noxious green gas cloud at will, but that part was a little less important this week.

Seriously. In "Things You Can't Outrun," stopping The Mist was placed squarely on the backburner, as "The Flash" took some time to shore up that, yes, all of its characters have emotional problems of varying severity.

Let's check off the list, shall we?

Barry is still coping ...

'The Vampire Diaries' Season 6: Bonnie and Damon Need Their Own
Tonight's episode of The Vampire Diaries season 6 took a turn for the better. We've had a lot of brooding and drama through the course of the series' six seasons. 1. Damon Actually Loves Likes Bonnie

Most of this episode of The Vampire Diaries revolves around Damon and Bonnie's bickering. We can't say we're not used to it. Damon and Bonnie have ...

'Arrow' Season 3 Episode 2 Recap: 10 Insane Moments from 'Sara'

October 16th, 2014 8:03am EDT
Boy, that was a depressing hour, huh?

That tends to be the case when a show kills off a major character- you've got to take a little time off and say goodbye. Closure is as important with our fake TV superheroes as it is in real life.

Ok, have we gotten far enough in this recap that the little preview on the front page won't show the MASSIVE spoilers from last week? Yes? Cool.

In that case, "Sara" is one long hour of goodbye for the Canary. So long, Sara. You came back from the dead once, but now you're riddled with arrow holes and buried underground. Probably not coming back from that ...

The CW’s post-apocalyptic drama “The 100” surely didn’t disappoint with its first season -- after all, it ended with quite the bang.

Season 2 is right around the corner and fans can’t wait to see just what Mount Weather is all about and what our favorite “sky people” are up to. It’s probably safe to assume that their time on the surface of Earth is going to get a lot more complicated and scary -- is that even possible?

'Supernatural' Season 10 Episode 2 Recap: A Demon Scorned

October 15th, 2014 11:10am EDT
"Supernatural" has always benefited from methodical, eccentric writing. The slow burn premiere from last week ignited into a bonfire of tragedy, snark and demon-black eyes, and our feels were the kindling. "Reichenbach" saw Demon Dean finally earn those fancy eyes of his, Sammy track down his brother and unlocked a whole new level of mythology.

Grab your stress balls and let's dive in, shall we?

This week's episode grabs viewers by the throat with a chilling cold open flashback to 2003. A teenaged Cole awakens to the dulcet tones of his father's brutal murder. The flashback is com...

'The Flash' Season 1 Episode 2 Recap: Three Crucial Flash Facts From 'Fastest Man Alive'

October 15th, 2014 8:58am EDT
The Flash
We're just two episodes into "The Flash," and while everyone watching knows the barest essentials of the Scarlet Speedster (runs fast, red tights, generally positive outlook), there's still so much we have yet to learn about the CW's newest hero.

That's where last night's episode, "Fastest Man Alive" comes in.

While the premiere handled all of the reallllly basic stuff (again: runs fast, red tights, generally positive outlook), the second hour is here to fill in the gaps and give us more detailed look at what the next eleven episodes will feel like (the CW, as is often the case with fledg...
