Who Are TV's Sexiest Men?

November 21st, 2014 1:00pm EST
Matt Bomer
People magazine rightfully declared Aussie-born actor Chris Hemsworth as "The Sexiest Man Alive." The actor, who has impressive bulked up for roles in "Marvel's The Avengers" and Thor 2: The Dark World, has definitely earned the title. But this blogger, who loves all things television, couldn't help but wonder: who television's sexiest men alive? Here are my top 10 picks in no particular order.

White Collar's Matt Bomer
While "White Collar" may be shuffling off to that great TV vault in the sky, star Matt Bomer's career is just beginning its stratospheric rise, thanks in part to his...

'The Vampire Diaries' Season 6: 5 OMG Moments From 'Fade Into Yo
They could write a book on Kai's complicated family history on The Vampire Diaries. We learned about Kai's ruthless quest for power. However, The Vampire Diaries' proved that all evil leads back to bad parenting. We also learned that the Gemini coven is basically the Originals family, but with witches. The Vampire Diaries season 6 episode 8, "Fade Into You," had so many OMG moments. Here are the biggest ones:

1. It's All Relative

In 1994, he killed four of his siblings. Three of them survived: Jo, Liv, and Luke. Kai killed the other four as punishment for his father's hatred of him being ...

'Arrow': 10 Heart-Wrenching Moments From 'Draw Back Your Bow'

November 20th, 2014 10:06am EST
Arrow
Do we have an overarching storyline for this season of "Arrow" yet? Season one was Robert Queen's little black book and the Dark Archer, while season two was Slade Wilson's revenge. Season three seems like it'll hinge on Sara's murder in the same way, except that story seems to have faltered recently.

Roy's innocent (well, innocent of Sara's murder, anyway), and the case has gone cold. We're closing in on the season's halfway point- things should hopefully pick up soon, and we'll see just what "Arrow" has planned for the long haul.

But for now, a villain-of-the-week story like "Draw Back...

'The Flash' Recap: Childhood Bullies Suck - 'The Flash Is Born'

November 19th, 2014 9:17am EST
The Flash
Let's all give a big round of applause to Tony Woodward, aka Girder (even if the CW's version doesn't go by that name; instead, "Girder" is a funky-looking training robot of Cisco's design), for being one of the most simple-minded supervillains anyone's seen in a long, long time.

In "The Flash is Born," Woodward's first act as a supervillain is to steal beer, a bright yellow Humvee, a couple ATMs, and go joyriding. His second and third acts, admittedly, are to beat the unholy hell out of Barry Allen (now that's a supervillain), but after that he's back to his old charms.

He kidnaps Iris- ...

'The Vampire Diaries' Recap: Kai's Sister Lives And Other Big Reveals

'The Vampire Diaries' Recap: Kai's Sister Lives And Other Big Re
The Vampire Diaries season 6 continues to show promise. Bonnie grows even more into the witch we always hoped she'd become. Her nemesis Kai also gets more devious by the minute. And we love it. Sadly for Delena shippers, Damon and Elena went from awkward exes to complete strangers. The Vampire Diaries season 6 episode 7, "Do You Remember The First Time?" led to some big reveals. Here are the four biggest ones.

1. You Don't Mess with a Bennett Witch

Bonnie wakes and finds that Kai needs her help to fix the Ascendant. The Badass Bennett strikes again and kills him. She then reassembles the ...

'Arrow': 10 Boxing Glove Arrow-Worthy Moments From 'Guilty'

'Arrow' Recap: 10 Boxing Glove Arrow-Worthy Moments From 'Guilty
You know what? Let's just get this out of the way first.

BOXING-GLOVE-ARROW-BOXING-GLOVE-ARROW-BOXING-GLOVE-ARROW!!

That felt good.

A lot of plot momentum on this week's "Arrow"- Laurel and Ted upgrade from boxing lessons to vigilante lessons, Roy gets a legit superhero name and we get an answer on that whole "did Roy kill Sara?" thing. But most of all, a man got punched by another man while they were across the room from each other.

"Guilty" might have erred a bit too far on the cheesy side, but it's impossible to complain when boxing glove arrows are involved.

So with that in mind...

'Supernatural': 200th Episode Was A Testament To Show's Creativity

November 12th, 2014 11:28am EST
Supernatural - 200th Episode Fan Fiction
It's almost to impossible to think that a little horror show with just two leads that was wavered on cancellation for three consecutive seasons in a row would soldier on to celebrate 200 episodes. With last night's "Fan Fiction," it joins a pantheon of shows lucky enough to last 10 seasons and beyond. "Supernatural" has aired on every weeknight, outlasted the network that created it, and outlived other mainstream successes like "How I Met Your Mother," "Buffy The Vampire Slayer," and "The Sopranos." And it has done it all with virtually no promotion.

How is that possible? Episode 200, ...

'The Flash' Recap: The Flash Makes An Exploding Friend

November 12th, 2014 9:07am EST
The Flash
Where are all the honest, decent people in Central City? Ever since that particle accelerator blew, everyone crawling out of the woodwork with gas powers or tornado powers or a gun that makes things real cold has been unequivocally on the side of evil.

We need a few metahumans (who aren't Barry Allen) who can fight on the side of good.

And that's what Plastique (Kelly Frye) is here to do... even if she's far too troubled to actually be Barry's super-buddy (also, sorry, Oliver Queen, but you're just a dude in a hood with above-average bow skills. Call us when you can turn your fingers int...

'Arrow': 10 Mind-Blowing Moments From 'The Secret Origin of Felicity Smoak'

November 6th, 2014 9:18am EST
The Secret Origin of Felicity Smoak
Felicity doesn't get too many episodes to herself, does she? And she definitely doesn't get flashbacks. So just on that alone, "The Secret Origin of Felicity Smoak" is an "Arrow" outing that stands tall above the rest.

Also, it wins major points in the "Coolest Episode Title of the Season" competition (not that there were any other real contenders. "The Magician?" Pass).

But more than that, "The Secret Origin" was another "Arrow" jammed with gasp-worthy moments and solid character work. Even if the action wasn't too hot this time around. Now let's dig into this week's list.

10. Hey, Look...
