'The Singles Project' Season 1 Episode 2: Bad, Bad Dates

'The Singles Project' Season 1 Episode 2: Bad, Bad Dates
Seriously, I could shake these people.

Like so many singles I have known in my life, the cast chews your ear off about how they want a relationship, they want to be in love, they want to meet somebody…and then all they do is sabotage an opportunity that comes their way.

The theme this week was Dates: The Good, The Bad and The Obnoxious; as three out of the five people who actually appeared prominently on the show this week went on ones that just did not work out. Was it them or was it the person they went out with? As often is the case in most situations, there's enough blame to go around...

'Real Housewives Of New Jersey' Season 6 Episode 6 'The Family Business'

'Real Housewives Of New Jersey' Season 6 Episode 6 'The Family B
Vision boards. Scientists. Corporate jets. Oh my. We're getting lofty in the Garden State.

Still smarting from the First Responder attack, all the castmates decide to retreat back into their families for moral support, with the kids having a more high profile role than usual.

I almost feel badly for this second-generation that counts reality TV as part of its legacy; although none of them yet seem any worse for the wear just yet. Especially not the feisty Gia Guidice. She has just turned thirteen, and as her gift, Teresa passes down to her a ring that Gia’s grandmother had given to Teresa...

At the end I can actually offer advice/observations.

Viewers can also submit themselves as potential partners, however I’ve been married for 26 years and my husband frowns upon my dating, so I’ll just stick to giving p...

'The Real Housewives Of New Jersey' Season 6 Episode 5 ‘One Flew Over The Chicken’s Nest’ Recap

August 11th, 2014 12:05pm EDT
The Real Housewives Of New Jersey
A house divided cannot stand. But it does wonders for a housewives’ franchise.

Even though this episode is bookended by arguments revolving around the First Responder party, the core is a rather bland mix of everyone getting a chance to redeem themselves by showing their softer sides via family interactions.

Can we ever be distracted though from the fact that this bunch really loves to throw down? Whereas the women are indoor brawlers, duking it out in the living room, the men prefer the great outdoors. So we begin episode 5, on the front porch of Nicole’s boyfriend Bobby’s house, where w...

Wecome to the Garden State.

The Car Dealership

Melissa Gorga and her husband Joe enter a car dealership, which it seems they singlehandedly keep in business. Melissa has once again banged up her Bentley to the tune of almost eight thousand dollars (that’s eight large, in tough guy parlance.) It’s revealed that Joe has made a business investment and it is yet to be seen if it is a fruitful one. He’s concerned about their finances while Melissa seems to believe money is no object. The first reference to Nicole and her boyfriend Bobby’s “First Responder” party is made.

Dina’s Closet

Summer is here, and that means it's also time for the Summer TCA Press Tour, when TV networks to show off their latest slew of shows to a crowd of film critics.

But the days are long and stuffed with television. Hours upon hours, days upon days. A lot of TV. So for convenience's sake, we've shortened things down to only the most important parts of each presentation- this time, from NBCUniversal, and all the many cable channels currently in their employ.

19 Of Our Favorite 'Real Housewives' In Bikinis

Real Housewives in Bikinis
On March 21, 2006 we were all introduced to The Real Housewives of Orange County: Kimberly Bryant, Jo De La Rosa, Vicki Gunvalson, Jeana Keough and Lauri Waring -- five women living in an upscale gated community in OC whose lives were followed for the sake of entertainment.

Two years after the debut of the series, Bravo cashed in by adding another branch of the series, The Real Housewives of New York City, which made a star of series regular Bethenny Frankel, a former natural foods chef who has since gone on to release numerous best-selling books, create a cocktail company (which she then ...

'Real Housewives Of New Jersey' Recap: Season 5 Finale

September 30th, 2013 11:24am EDT
Real Housewives of New Jersey
As all good things must come to an end, so must the fifth season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Must they go out with such a whimper, instead of a bang, though? These are the women that made “prostitution whore” part of our lexicon, and nary a table was flipped this entire episode.

We start off at Kim’s salon opening from hell, Posche 2: the Reckoning, where Penny and the Gorgas are still screaming at each other about Twitter. Penny maintains, steadfast, that Teresa fed her all the information she ever tweeted about, and told her to say everything nasty she ever tweeted. I mean, it’...
