Bond Villian Geoffrey Holder Dies At 84
Geoffrey Holder, Tony-winning actor, dancer and choreographer known best as Baron Samedi in the James Bond film "Live and Let Die," has died at the age of 84.

Holder will forever be associated with the iconic character of Samedi (also knows as the man who cannot die), an original in a sea of uninspiring Bond villians. Notorious Bond villain Mr. Big chose to intertwine himself with Samedi, a voodoo figure, to instill fear in his followers.

Addictive Puzzle Game 'Tetris' To Become An 'Epic Sci-Fi Movie'

Threshold Entertainment, the company that brought video game franchise "Mortal Kombat" to the big screen has announced that it's set to bring another popular game to movie thieaters in the not-too-distant future: Tetris.

No, really.

The company's CEO, Larry Kasanoff, told the Wall Street Journal on Tuesday that Threshold has story in place that is "much more imaginative" than one might think, and that the film will be a "very big, epic sci-fi movie."

"This isn't a movie with a bunch of lines running around the page," he said. "We're not giving feet to the geometric shapes."

Conan O'Brien Shows How 'Minecraft' Creator Celebrated Microsoft
Microsoft confirmed on Monday that it will be plopping down a whopping $2.5 billion to acquire the hugely popular video game Minecraft, along with its parent company Mojang AB, by the end of the year.

Developed by Markus Persson, who co-founded the Swedish video game company in 2009, the PC and tablet-based game centers on an open world environment where players can create virtually anything they want, brick by brick.

Late movie star Robin Williams was a big fan of playing video games -- so big, in fact, that he named daughter Zelda after the popular Nintendo game -- and now he'll be immortalized as a "non-player character" (NPC) in at least one upcoming series.

Fans of the actor petitioned to have a character added to popular online gaming series "World of Warcraft" on Change.org, and the game's producer, Blizzard Entertainment, answered their call.

A worker at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) accidentally tweeted out a message promoting Kim Kardashian's new mobile game, "Kim Kardashian: Hollywood" on Monday.

The official @EPAwater twitter page shared the message, "I'm now a C-List celebrity in Kim Kardashian: Hollywood. Come join me and become famous too by playing on iPhone!"

Naturally, the tweet was deleted, however it remained live for three hours before it was taken down. That left plenty of time for thousands of re-tweets and even more comments.
