Will Ferrell is set to make baseball history today when he plays in five Major League Baseball spring training games in Arizona's Cactus League.

The actor is set to take the field to raise awareness for cancer research, and his feat will be chronicled for a special produced by website Funny Or Die.com in conjunction with HBO.

NBC has added Olympic figure skating announcers Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir to its Super Bowl XLIX pregame lineup, tasking the eccentric duo with reporting on all the celebrities attending the big game.

Legendary ESPN Sportscaster Stuart Scott Dies At 49
Longtime ESPN sportscaster Stuart Scott died early Sunday morning following a long battle with cancer. He was 49.

Scott became a household name thanks to his many catchphrases while anchoring the network's "SportsCenter," most notably his exclamation "Boo-Yah" (which co-anchor Rich Eisen says was correctly spelled "Boo-Yow") and "Cool as the other side of the pillow."

"People say I stole it from a movie," he said in a 1998 interview, "but I first thought of that and said it on my first job ... I just liked it."
